Trump has a lot on his plate and so far he’s done a great job getting things done when you consider all the people on both sides of the aisle who are working against him. Tax reform, Gorsuch, cutting regulations, defeating ISIS. Not bad for your first year.
One thing that Trump still needs to get done is cutting the $500 million of taxpayer money we give to Planned Parenthood each year. There’s just no rational reason for them to continue to receive that money when you consider the horrific things they have been caught doing like covering up child rape and selling aborted baby parts for profit. That’s on top of the horrific undercover videos.
Really? Is that the best we can do?
It’s bad enough that Planned Parenthood does these terrible things.
They make it even worse by rubbing it in our faces.
That’s exactly what they did this Christmas.
From The Daily Caller:
The abortion giant makes no exception for the holidays, charging forward with its mission to provide life-ending services to women no matter the day. “Many women experience deep depression on the anniversary of their abortions – no matter what day of the year they have it. But it’s unfathomable that such pain could be forever linked to Christmas,” the president of 40 Days for Life, Shawn Carney, told LifeNews.
“But that’s Planned Parenthood – abortion, no matter what,” Carney said. “A a cold, disconnected view of Christmas is nothing new for Planned Parenthood.”
A majority of American women who aborted their unborn babies say that their lives didn’t improve at all or refused to answer a question about any positive effects of aborting, a new study reports.
Fear not. Trump has made some strides in fighting back against America’s favorite abortion factory.
From The Hill:
President Trump on Thursday signed a bill to nix an Obama-era rule that blocked states from defunding healthcare providers for political reasons.
The bill, which Democrats say is really an effort to defund Planned Parenthood, passed the Senate last month after Vice President Pence had to cast a tie-breaking vote.
Trump signed the measure behind closed doors in the Oval Office without media present.
Small victory. But a victory nonetheless.
But, what about all the women who depend on Planned Parenthood?!
Like most liberal arguments, that’s nonsense.
From National Review:
Now, two prominent pro-life organizations, the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and the Charlotte Lozier Institute, have created a map that appears prima facie to debunk claims that stripping $500 million of annual taxpayer dollars from Planned Parenthood would produce a public health crisis for women.
The map pinpoints the 665 Planned Parenthood locations and health-care clinics in the United States, compared side-by-side with the 13,540 clinics clustered across the country that are currently offering comprehensive women’s health care, according to the two groups’ data.
Here’s that map.
Clearly, women won’t be dying in the streets without Planned Parenthood.
And hey, they don’t have to go anywhere. Stay open. Just raise money privately like every other non-profit in the world.
